Soil Suitability I Nitrate Loading Study Irerracon
Whitlow Property ■ Stockton, CA
November 20, 2019 ■ Terracon Project No. NA197078
2016 when one of the structures was removed. At the time of Terracon's field activities, the
remaining structures had been removed reportedly due to a house fire.
1.3 Existing and Proposed Septic Tank Usage
1.3.1 Existing On-Site Septic Tank Usage
There are currently no septic systems located on the site.
1.3.2 Site Specific Permit History
Based on a review of the EHD Public Records website, one septic repair permit (72-306) for the
addition of 130 feet of leach drain and one septic destruction permit (SR0080869) dated 2019
were available. Two additional Well/Pump permits (72-136 and SR0028453) were available for
the site address. Based on a review of the permit (5R0028453) dated 2002. groundwater was
encountered at 94 feet bgs. The permit additionally indicated the groundwater well was
approximately 181 feet deep.
1.3.3 Discussion of On-Site Septic:Tank Repair
The septic repair permit (72-306) was for the addition of a 70 foot long leach line and a 60 foot
long leach line,
1.3.4 Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity
In an attempt to determine the septic system density for the vicinity of the site, our office reviewed
a recent aerial photograph of the property available from GoogleEarthTM, The vicinity of the site
consists of agriculutural land and residences. The assumption was made that each
building/cluster of buildings has one septic system. Using this method, we determined there are
approximately 7 septic systems within 0.25 miles of the site.
1.3.5 Septic Permit History in the Vicinity
Terracon searched the EHD Public Records website for the adjoining property septic permits. The
following table is a summary of septic permits available for the adjacent properties:
Table 2.
Summary of Adjoining Property Septic Permits.
Leach
Tank Sire Leach Line Line Seepage Pits,
Direction Address Permil N Type width x Depth
(Gallons) Quantity Length tFee=
(Feet)l
Norlb 11121 N Alpine Rd NF
950 D Feet 11211 N.Npine Rd 73-943 New Install 1.2DO 2 50 Two 2.75 x 25
Responsive P Resourceful a Reliable 5
