Discussion of On-site Septic Tank Installation and Repair <br /> Based on a review of the EHD records, a permit for the existing septic system on the site <br /> was identified. The permit details a septic system with a 1,600-gallon tank size, 3 leach <br /> lines 80 feet in length, 3 seepage pits 42 inches in diameter, dated July 15, 2020. <br /> 1.3.4. Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity <br /> In an attempt to determine the septic system density for the vicinity of the site, our <br /> office reviewed a recent aerial photograph of the property available from Google EarthTM <br /> The vicinity of the site consists of agricultural land and residences. The assumption was <br /> made that each building/cluster of buildings has one septic system. Using this method, <br /> we determined there are approximately 7 septic systems within 0.25 miles of the site. A <br /> review of septic permit records and historical imagery provided by ERIS indicates that <br /> septic systems on adjacent properties generally consist of systems installed in the late <br /> 1970s to early 1990s, corresponding with the development of surrounding residences. <br /> Refer to Table 3 for more detailed septic permits. <br /> 1.3.5. Septic Permit History in the Vicinity <br /> Terracon searched the EHD Public Records website for the adjoining property septic <br /> permits.
