Alaniz, John
From: Arcee San Pablo <arcee@aic-coatings.com>
Sent: Friday, April 10, 2020 3:05 PM
To: Alaniz, John
Cc: Steve Hockett
Subject: RE: Automatic reply: Update
Attachments: 1 Shop Rags and Filters.pdf, 1Cardinal.pdf, 1waste powder.pdf
Hi John,
I apologize for the delay. Please see the attached analytical for the shop rags and paint booth filters. Zinc and Cadmium
levels came back high. I have put in a request to STLC&TCLP analysis until I get back the results these are being handled
as Hazardous.
Also-attached is the waste powder analytical. Nothing trigger the need for STLC/TCLP.The barium came back high. I
spoke to the lab and they are not able to isolate the type of barium. In speaking with Cardinal, their products contain
Barium sulfate that has been delisted. I know that it is dependent on the concentration so Cardinal was able to provide a
statement and analytics for cardinal powder waste. Cardinal make ups of nearly 95%of the powder used in that
department.
Again, I apologize for taking so long on this.
Thanks,
Arcee
From:Alaniz,John [mailto:jalanizl@sjgov.org]
Sent:Thursday, April 09, 2020 9:42 AM
To:Arcee San Pablo<arcee@aic-coatings.com>
Subject:Automatic reply: Update
Hello,
I will be in and out of the office periodically.
