A Akynbtr ofThe IT Group <br /> 1 <br /> December 13, 2001 JAN u 9 2001 <br /> ' ENVIRONv�t=l�fl HEALTH <br /> 7-Eleven, <br /> Inc Bob o PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> 7- nc <br /> t 3130 S Owyhee Street <br /> Boise, Idaho 83705 <br /> Subject Fourth Quarter 2001 Monitoring and Sampling Report <br /> 7-Eleven Store No 21756 <br /> 853 E Yosemite Avenue <br /> Manteca, California 781723 <br /> Dear Mr DeNinno <br /> This Fourth Quarter 2001 Monitoring and Sampling Report presents the results of monitoring and sampling <br /> activities performed by IT Corporation at the subject site (Figures 1 and 2, Attachment 1) on October 4, <br /> 2001 <br /> The San Joaquin County Public Health Services/Environmental Health Department has requested <br /> additional site assessment A workplan for additional assessment will be submitted in accordance with the <br /> revised deadline (IT Corporation, Inc , correspondence September 27, 2001) <br /> ' A summary of activities conducted during this reporting period is provided below <br /> ' Depth to water(DTW)was gauged in three site-related groundwater monitoring wells <br /> Groundwater samples were collected from the three monitoring wells and submitted to a <br /> California-certified laboratory for analysis of benzene,toluene, ethylbenzene and total xylenes <br /> ' (BTEX),total petroleum hydrocarbons-as-gasoline (TPH-G), the oxygenates methyl-tert-butyl <br /> ether(MTBE),tert-butanol(TBA),dusopropyl ether(DIPE), ethyl-tett-butyl ether(ETBE),and <br /> tert-amylmethyl ether(TAME) <br /> ' Groundwater Monitoring Data <br /> ' Before monitoring, the well caps were opened to allow the water in each well to stabilize to atmospheric <br /> pressure The DTW was measured to the nearest 0 01 foot from the top of the well casing using an <br /> interface probe <br /> z A potentiometric surface map was prepared using the quarterly groundwater elevation data (Figure 2) <br /> Results indicate that the groundwater flow is toward the northwest at a gradient of about 0 002 ft/ft The <br /> ' groundwater monitoring results from the current monitoring and sampling event are presented in Table 1 <br /> (Attachment 2) Historical data are included in Table 2 Field data sheets are included in Attachment 3 <br />
