Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #18 Pool Shell and Tile <br /> OBSERVATIONS: I observed several areas in the pool near the steps that are chipping. <br /> I also observed areas throughout the pool that chipping has occurred and black algae has formed (observed near the steps, <br /> middle of the pool and deep end). <br /> Recommend resurfacing pool,take steps to eliminate black algae. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool shells shall be white and have a smooth waterproof interior finish that will withstand repeated brushing, <br /> and scrubbing.A spa pool may be finished in a light color other than white when approved by the enforcement agency.
