All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #5 Restrooms and Showers <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The toilet paper dispenser is empty. Refill the toilet paper dispenser today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall ensure the following facilities are maintained and kept clean:showers, toilets, dressing <br /> facilities, drinking fountains,diaper-changing stations, floors, walls,partitions, doors,and lockers. Showers(except outside)shall be <br /> provided with soap in dispensers. Toilet facilities shall be provided with toilet tissue,hand soap, and paper towels or hot air blowers in <br /> permanently installed dispensers.Pool operator shall provide a minimum of one waste receptacle in each toilet facility. Wooden slats, <br /> duckboards and footbaths are prohibited. (CCR 65535, 65551)Showers and lavatories shall be provided with hot and cold water faucets. <br /> Maximum water temperature at showers and lavatories shall not exceed 110`F. (CBC 31168) <br /> #8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The pool light is not functioning. Repair/replace the pool light by 2 weeks. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br /> pool. When a pool is used at night,pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br /> not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4-inch letters stating"NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK"and shall <br /> secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. (31156) <br /> #11 Combined Chlorine Concentration <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The combined chlorine level of the pool is 1.0ppm. Take action to reduce the combined chlorine level to <br /> 0.4ppm or less. Correct by 1 week. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain combined chlorine concentration below 0.4 ppm. (CCR 65530) Chemical quality <br /> of pool water and indoor air quality at the pool site shall not cause adverse physiological effects, such as irritation of the eyes,lungs,or <br /> skin. (CCR 65531) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Two of the pool skimmers are missing weir doors. Replace weir doors by 1 week. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br /> maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
