Hazelton Avenue <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> Attention: Ms. Diane Hinson <br /> i <br /> For the proposed site, located south of the intersection of Eight Mile Road and Thorton <br /> Road (near Bear Creek) in Stockton, California, the field investigation would be <br /> performed as follows. We have a"deadline due to Escrow of February 10, .1989. Your <br /> timely response would be much appreciated. <br /> j <br /> • Perform a geotechnical soil investigation with twenty-four exploratory borings <br /> to approximately 10-20 feet as shown on the attached site plan. No <br /> monitoring wells will be installed in any of these borings. <br /> • The twenty-four borings will be approximately six inches in diameter and will <br /> be backfilled by tremie method with a lean concrete and 4 percent <br /> bentonite mixture in accordance with the San Joaquin County Health District <br /> requirements. <br /> We understand that. in some cases, due to tight time constraints, you're agency works <br /> overtime in reviewing permit applications. Because of the restrictive time constraints <br /> for this project, we would like to authorize you or your staff for the necessary overtime <br /> hours. Enclosed is a check for $70 which we understand will cover the cost of the <br /> permit application review and the site visit by your field representative during drilling. <br /> If it will help expedite the review process, I would be happy to drive up to meet with you <br /> personally to discuss any questions that you may have. <br /> 'l <br /> Enclosed you will find a completed application for a drilling permit, a check for <br /> processing the application, a copy of our proposal for this job outlining our proposed <br /> scope of work, a site plan, and a copy of the existing soils report for this site. i <br /> Your cooperation and understanding in,this matter is greatly appreciated.
