Kamerer ,
I
Gentlemen:
In accordance with your request, we are pleased to Introduction
provide this proposal to perform a geotechnical
investigation for the above-referenced project. We I
have received the preliminary site plan, discussed
the project with you, reviewed the preliminary
Geologic/Soils Report performed in May 1987, and
have reviewed our previous experience in the area
as a basis for this proposal.
The purpose of this investigation would be to
evaluate the foundation materials and provide
recommendations concerning the soil and
foundation engineering aspects of the referenced
development, as well as to briefly evaluate the local G
and regional geological conditions in terms of
potential geologic hazards.
As presently planned, the development will consist of Project Description
approximately 611 individual lots for single family
houses located on approximately 150 acres in
Stockton, California. We understand the parcel is
relatively flat and contains levees, channels, and
roadway embankments. In addition, existing Pixley
Slough which crosses through the center of the site
will be abandoned and backfilled. A new drainage
channel will be constructed along the eastern
property line and drain into existing Bear Creek
located on the southern boundary. We understand ,
that the new drainage channel will be designed and
constructed by others.
Based on the available information, our proposed Scope of Work
