A <br /> LEVINE•FRICKE <br /> Task &: Laboratory Analysis <br /> �- Task 7 : Data Evaluation and Report Preparation <br /> Task 8: Project Management and Meetings <br /> These tasks are described in detail below. <br /> Task 1: Review Background Information on site Setting and History <br /> of Site Usage from Data Obtained During Brookside Ranch <br /> Site Assessment <br /> Relevant background information pertaining to the physical and <br /> f cultural setting of the Site (including site drainage, soil char- <br /> acteristics, characteristics and quality of local ground water <br /> and nearby surface-water sources as well as present and past land <br /> usage) will be obtained through a review of data in Levine-Fricke <br /> files concerning the Brookside Ranch property and surrounding <br /> area. Aerial photographs obtained during the Brookside Ranch <br /> investigation will also be utilized to identify evidence of his- <br /> torical activities that may potentially impact or have possibly <br /> impacted the Site. <br /> Task 2 : Conduct Field Inspection of site and Neighboring Proper- <br /> f <br /> ties <br /> A walk-through inspection of the Site was conducted an December <br /> 29, 1988 to observe: general site conditions; use, storage hand- <br /> ling, and disposal of potentially hazardous chemicals; and indications <br /> of possible chemical sources, releases of chemicals to the envi- <br /> ronment, or conduits for chemical migration (e.g. water wells, <br /> dr wells etc. ) .. ) . Results from the walk--by inspection will be <br /> presented with other findings from this Environmental Site Assess- <br /> ment. <br /> r <br /> a <br /> Task 3: Review Regulatory Records Concerning site and Neighboring <br /> r Properties obtained During Brookside Ranch Site Assess- <br /> went <br /> Information obtained through a review of state and local regula- <br /> tory agency records pertaining to the possible use, storage, dis- <br /> posal and/or release of hazardous materials at the Site and in <br /> the immediate surroundings during the Levine•Fricke Environmental <br /> Site Assessment of the Brookside Ranch property will be reviewed <br /> for possible off-site sources of chemicals that could affect the <br /> Site. Appropriate PG&E personnel will be contacted concerning <br /> �- possible environmental concerns involved with the transformer <br /> substation neighboring the Site. <br /> -3- <br />
