Training programs for all employees and annual training, including refresher <br />courses, shall include safety procedures for the event of a release or threatened release of a hazardous material, <br />including, but not limited to, familiarity with the facility's emergency response plans and procedures. These training <br />programs may take into consideration of each employee. Immediately prepare or update the facility's training <br />program, log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, upload the <br />correct or updated information, and submit to the EHD for approval. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />9 HSC 25508(a)(1) Failed to annually review and certify that the business plan is complete, accurate, and up to date. <br />The business plan information has not been reviewed and resubmitted in the California Environmental Reporting <br />System (CERS) annually by January 15th. The hazardous materials inventory shall be submitted by January 15 of <br />each calendar year and may be submitted beginning November 1 of the previous year. Immediately log into the <br />CERS at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, enter the correct or updated information, and submit to the EHD for approval. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />12 HSC 25505(c) Failed to have the business plan readily available to facility or EHD personnel. <br />Facility could not provide the Emergency Response Plan and the Chemical inventory upon request. The emergency <br />response plans and procedures, the inventory of information required by this article, and the site map required by <br />this section shall be readily available to personnel of the business or the unified program facility with responsibilities <br />for emergency response or training pursuant to this section. Immediately make arrangements to have the business <br />plan readily available for review. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, within 30 days of receiving the completed inspection report. <br />Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses were required to submit all hazardous materials information <br />online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov.
