Definitions <br />Exit—the portion of an exit route that is generally separated from other areas to provide a <br />protected way of travel to the exit discharge. <br />Exit route—a continuous and unobstructed path of exit travel from any point within a workplace <br />to a place of safety (including refuge areas). (An exit route includes all vertical and horizontal <br />areas along the route.) <br />Reporting <br />Facility personnel are to report the following types of emergencies to the EAP Administrator: <br />• Medical; <br />• Fire; <br />• Gas leak; <br />• Bomb threat; <br />• Hazardous material spill; <br />• Criminal or violent behavior. <br />Evacuation <br />Evacuation Routes <br />Evacuation route maps will be posted in the conspicuous office and shop locations and attached <br />to this EAP. The following information is marked on evacuation maps: <br />• Emergency exits; <br />• Primary evacuation routes; <br />• Portable fire extinguisher locations; <br />• Assembly area <br />Evacuation Procedures <br />When the evacuation announcement is made, all personnel must evacuate to the assembly area. <br />Table -top drills for Stockton personnel may be performed on an annual basis. <br />The safe evacuation of personnel with special needs or disabilities will be pre -determined, <br />whenever applicable. <br />After personnel are evacuated and have reached the assembly areas, the Headcount Coordinator <br />will conduct a head count of all personnel. The name(s) of any missing personnel and suspected <br />locations will be communicated to the EAP Administrator. <br />
