I the amount of$60,000.00, as reimbursement for partial recovery of its costs of investigation, of <br /> 2 which $40,000.00 in costs were incurred by the CDAA state wide circuit prosecutor project as <br /> 3 attorneys' fees, costs and other litigation expenses; and, (iii) Office of the District Attorney, <br /> 4 Nevada County, in the amount of$60,000.00, as reimbursement for partial recovery of its costs of <br /> 5 investigation, of which $40,000.00 in costs were incurred by the CDAA state wide circuit <br /> 6 prosecutor project as attorneys' fees, costs and other litigation expenses. These three separate <br /> 7 checks shall be delivered to the Office of the Attorney General within thirty (30) calendar days of <br /> 8 the Effective Date of the Final Judgment entered in this action. <br /> 9 (d) SEVEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($750,000.00), by <br /> 10 check, made payable to "The County of Sacramento—Environmental Management Department," <br /> I 1 to fund the Sacramento County Abandoned Well Restoration Project. This Project is more fully <br /> 121 described in Exhibit D, attached hereto and, by reference, made part of this Stipulation and Final <br /> 13 Judgment. The check shall be delivered to the Office of the Attorney General within thirty (30) <br /> 14 calendar days of the Effective Date of the Final Judgment entered in this action. The County of <br /> 15 Sacramento Environmental Management Department shall ensure that these funds are expended <br /> 16 for the purposes of the Sacramento County Abandoned Well Restoration Project, and shall, until <br /> 17 the exhaustion of these funds, provide annual reports describing the specific use of the funds and <br /> 18 describing the specific activities completed. These reports shall be submitted to Plaintiff pursuant <br /> 19 to Paragraph 16 herein. <br /> 20 (e) TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($250,000.00), shall <br /> 21 be expended by Defendants in Sacramento County over the five years following the Effective <br /> 22 Date of the Final Judgment entered in this action, on the implementation of Defendants' Fiberlite <br /> 23 Lid Replacement Project, which is described in Exhibit E, This Supplemental Environmental <br /> 24 Project is designed to advance the environmental goals underlying the California Health and <br /> 25 Safety Code and to improve the overall environmental health of the citizens of the State of <br /> 26 California through the replacement of manway covers at UST station sites owned or operated by <br /> 27 Defendants in Sacramento to facilitate access to and monitoring of leaks from underground <br /> 28 storage systems at their UST station sites.
