Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, CA 95205
Dear Mr. Lopez,
This email details Sierra Chemical Co.'s responses and corrective actions to the findings of the
HMBP inspection conducted by you of the Stockton, CA facility on October 30, 2015. We
appreciate your patience while we have made definitive and permanent actions in response to
the issues brought up during the inspection. Our responses were delayed due to internal
personnel failures and this situation has been corrected by temporarily reassigning the
responsibility of regulatory data collection and report generation to the company process
engineer. The company is now currently in the process of permanently replacing the previously
responsible employee, who is no longer with the company.
Responses to the three violations are listed below and documentation has been attached to
support these corrective actions.
Violation #7 - Failed to complete and/or submit hazardous materials inventory for all reportable materials
on site.
Reportable quantities of soda ash, sodium bicarbonate, calcium chloride, aluminum sulfate, polyaluminum chloride
solution, citric acid solution, sodium chloride, citric acid solution, oxalic acid dihydrate and latex paint were found on
site that t+ave not been reported_ Any material that meets or exceeds the reportable quantity shall be reported in the
facility's business plan.
