All waste shall have a waste determination performed as soon as the waste is placed in a <br />container. <br />#12) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. This is a <br />repeat violation. <br />-In the warehouse, broken bags of acid were left open on pallets, also an aboveground tank of <br />caustic was leaking and next to this tank was evidence of concrete deterioration. This facility <br />was not maintained nor operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or any <br />unplanned sudden or non -sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous waste constituents <br />to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment.
