Violation of CFC, Article 80, section 8001.7, failed to provide visible hazard identification signs or conspicuously mark or label containers Fire Safety Inspection, July 28, 2005: North End Warehouse Item No. 8 — Visible hazard identifications signs NFPA 704 diamond shall be placed on stationary aboveground tanks and at entrances to locations where hazardous materials are stored, dispensed, used or handled in quantities requiring a permit. Signs shall be provided at specific entrances and locations designed by the chief. Individual containers, cartons, or packages shall be conspicuously marked or labeled in accordance with nationally recognized standards. Rooms or cabinets containing compressed gases shall be conspicuously labeled COMPRESSED GAS. Signs shall not be obscured or removed, durable, and English as primary language. NFPA signs were posted on four sides -of the warehouse. Compressed Gas signs installed on doors to the Repack Room.
