Complaint (There Appears to be Four Separate Issues Under This Item; Code Reference 8001.7 <br />vs. 8001 @ Third Item): <br />13.h. Violation of CFC, Article 80, section 8001.7, failed to provide visible hazard <br />identification signs or conspicuously mark or label containers <br />Fire Safety Inspection, July 28, 2005: <br />North End Warehouse Item No. 8 — Visible hazard identifications signs NFPA 704 <br />diamond shall be placed on stationary aboveground tanks and at entrances to locations <br />where hazardous materials are stored, dispensed, used or handled in quantities requiring a <br />permit. Signs shall be provided at specific entrances and locations designed by the chief. <br />Individual containers, cartons, or packages shall be conspicuously marked or labeled in <br />accordance with nationally recognized standards. Rooms or cabinets containing <br />compressed gases shall be conspicuously labeled COMPRESSED GAS. Signs shall not <br />be obscured or removed, durable, and English as primary language. CFC, sec. 8001.7 <br />Sierra Chemical Response and Action: <br />Sierra Chemical Co. Post NFPA labels on stationary aboveground tanks containing <br />hazardous materials. NFPA signs were posted on four sides -of the warehouse. <br />Compressed Gas signs installed on doors to the Repack Room. <br />Cost: NA <br />Fire Safety Inspection, July 18, 2002: <br />Inside Storage Area — North 2: Label all unmarked barrels and containers with their <br />contents.
