Complaint (There Appears to be Two Separate Issues Under This Item; Code Reference <br />8003.1.3.1 vs. 8003.1.2.1): <br />Off Violation of CFC, Article 80, section 8003.1.3.1, failure to provide rooms, buildings or <br />areas used for the storage of liquid or solid hazardous material with spill control and <br />secondary containment <br />Fire Safety Inspection, July 28, 2005: <br />North End Warehouse Item No. 3 — Rooms, buildings or areas used for the storage of <br />liquid or solid hazardous materials shall be provided with spill control and secondary <br />containment. CFC, Sec. 8003.1.2.1 <br />Sierra Chemical Response and Action: <br />Warehouse Plan <br />Cost: See 13.r. <br />Fire Safety Inspection, July 28, 2005: <br />North End Warehouse Item No. 13 — Provide secondary containment in the outdoor <br />storage tote and barrel storage area. The existing portable containment units are defective <br />and no longer meet the listing of a secondary containment unit. Provide a permanent <br />containment with a curb to contain the largest container. Secondary containment drainage <br />systems must lead to an approved location. Secondary containment must have liquid -tight <br />sloped or recessed floors in indoor locations or similar areas in outdoor locations or <br />liquid -tight floors in indoor locations or similar areas in outdoor locations provided with <br />liquid -tight raised or recessed sills or dikes.
