Violation of CFC, Article 80, section 8003.3.2.3, failure to store portable tanks and <br />cylinders stored outside buildings, under a canopy of noncombustible construction; an <br />automatic fire -sprinkler system shall be provided for canopies used for storage of highly <br />toxic or toxic compressed gases <br />Fire Safety Inspection, July 18, 2002: <br />Outdoor Storage of Chlorine One -Ton Cylinders 1: Storage of cylinders shall be under a <br />canopy of noncombustible construction. There are approximately 15 to 25 one ton <br />chlorine gas cylinders on the bed of a truck or on the ground in storage in the back lot. <br />CFC, 8003.3.2.4 <br />Outdoor Storage of Chlorine One -Ton Cylinders 2: An automatic fire -sprinkler system <br />shall be provided for canopies used for storage of highly toxic or toxic compressed gases. <br />CFC, 8003.2.4 <br />Sierra Chemical Response and Action: <br />SOP266/281 ST, Section 6.1: Handling — Chlorine and Sulfur Dioxide 150 Pound <br />Cylinder and Ton Container Handling and Storage.
