Sierra Chemical Response and Action: <br />Warehouse Plan <br />Cost: See 13.r. <br />Fire Safety Inspection, July 28, 2005: <br />North End Warehouse Item No. 14 — Incompatible material in storage and storage of <br />materials incompatible with materials in use shall be separated when the stored materials <br />are in containers having a capacity of more than 5 pounds or'h gallon. Separate by a <br />distance of not less than 20 feet distance or isolate incompatible materials storage by a <br />noncombustible partition extending not less than 28 inches above and to the sides of the <br />stored material. CFC, Sec. 8001.11.8 <br />Fire Safety Inspection, July 18, 2002: <br />Rear Yard Storage 4: Provide separation of incompatible materials in the storage areas. <br />The materials include hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide, aluminum sulfate and <br />sodium bisulfite and unknowns. Separation shall be 20 feet between incompatible <br />materials. CFC, 8001.11.8 <br />Sierra Chemical Response and Action: <br />Yard Plan <br />Cost: See 13.ff. <br />Complaint: <br />13.jj. Violation of CFC, Article 80, section 8003.15.2.2, failure to store when kept outdoors, <br />irritants, sensitizers or other health hazard solids, liquids and gases no closer than 20 feet <br />from buildings, property lines, streets, alleys, public ways or exits to a public way, <br />however an unpierced two-hour fire -resistive wall extending not less than 30 inches <br />above and to the sides of the storage area is allowed in lieu of such distance <br />Fire Safety Inspection, July 28, 2005: <br />North End Warehouse Item No. 15 — Outdoor storage of irritants, sensitizers and other <br />health hazard solids, liquids and gases shall not be within 20 feet of buildings, property <br />lines, public way or exits to public way. CFC, Sec. 8003.15.2.2 <br />Sierra Chemical Response and Action: <br />Sierra Chemical Co. leases the South portion of the facility from Advances Industrial <br />Coatings, Inc.
