Noll / NorWesCo Emergency Action Plan (EAP) <br />Section one (1) <br />Emergency Evacuation & Response Implementation <br />Policy: <br />Noll / NorWesCo is committed to ensuring that all employees (snow what to do in the event of a <br />building fire, earthquake, or other emergency that would require immediate evacuation of Noll / <br />NorWesCo. Departments having visitors, contract personnel, vendors, customers, and/or <br />independent contractors on site will be responsible for briefing these personnel on what to do in the <br />event that an emergency is discovered that would require evacuation of the Noll ! NorWesCo facility. <br />This written policy and plan is available (upon request) to employees, their designated <br />representatives, and any Govemment agencies that request a copy <br />Overview: <br />Below is an overview and explanation of the duties, responsibilities, which are required to support the <br />Noll / NorWesCo, CMI, and Weather Guard Emergency Action Plan (EAP), <br />Duties and Responsibilities:, <br />Emergency Action Plan (EAP) Administrative Duties: <br />The Plant Manager (or designee) is the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) Administrator who has overall <br />responsibility for the plan. This responsibility includes the following.- <br />Developing <br />ollowing:Developing and maintaining a written Emergency Action Plan (EAP) for regular, after hours, <br />and weekend working conditions. <br />Notifying the proper rescue and law enforcement authorities, and the building <br />owner/superintendent in the event of an emergency affecting the facility. <br />Faking all necessary security measures to protect employees (if this can be done without <br />risking personal safety). <br />Integrating the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) with any existing general emergency plan <br />covering the building or work zones that are occupied_ <br />Review procedures for reporting emergencies, the location of safe exits, and evacuation <br />routes with all employees. <br />Conducting emergency (fire, earthquake) drills to acquaint employees with established <br />emergency procedures and to judge the effectiveness of the Emergency Action Plan (EAP). <br />Training designated employees in emergency response such as the use of fire extinguishers <br />and the accident reporting procedures. <br />Deciding which emergency response to initiate (evacuate or not), <br />• Maintaining records and property as necessary to abide by Government regulations and <br />Company policy, <br />Ensuring that the Noll / NorWesCo facility meets all Federal, State, and Local fire codes, <br />building codes, and regulations. <br />27 <br />
