Emergency Action Plan (EAP) revisions: <br />The Plant Manager (or designee) is responsible for reviewing and updating the plan as necessary <br />Copies of this plan may be obtained from The Plant Manager's Office or Human Resources Office. <br />Plan Implementation: <br />The Plant Manager (or designee) has full authority to decide when to implement the Emergency <br />Action Plan (EAP) if he/she believes that there is an emergency that might threaten the safety and <br />health of Noll 1 NorWeSCo employees. The following are examples of potential emergencies that <br />might be expected at this facility, and thus call for implementation of the Emergency Action Plan <br />(EAP): <br />Section 2 - Fires <br />o See Section Two (2) of the Emergency Action Plan (EAP). <br />Section 3 - Earthquakes <br />o See Section Three (3) of the Emergency Action Plan (FAP), <br />Section 4 - Floods <br />c Management will review weather announcements and weather conditions and will <br />determine the best course of action to take which could include releasing employees <br />for the day. <br />Section S - Bomb `threat <br />a See Section Five (5) of the Emergency Action Plan (EAP). <br />Section 5 - Inclement weather <br />o Section Seven (7) of this plan discusses various procedures that may be used in the <br />event of inclement weather_ Management will review weather announcements and <br />weather conditions and will determine the gest course of action to take which could <br />include releasing employees for the day. <br />Plant Manager or his/her designee: <br />During an emergency, The Plant Manager or his/her designee will perform the following functions: <br />Assess the situation to determine whether an emergency exists that requires activation of <br />emergency procedures. <br />Supervise all efforts, including evacuating employees. <br />t Notify outside emergency services_ <br />• Take all necessary measures to contain the hazard and prevent its spread to other nearby <br />areas, with the assistance of emergency personnel. <br />Direct other qualified persons to assist with these procedures. <br />After the emergency situation is contained and/or resolved, the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) <br />Coordinator and/or designee will work with other specified and qualified persons to investigate the <br />cause of the emergency and take steps to prevent a recurrence of the same or similar incidents. <br />Front Line ManagerstSupervisors: <br />Frontline managers/supervisors must be aware of the locations of those employees within their work <br />zones working on any particular day as well as suppliers, customers, contractor personnel, and other <br />non -employees that may be on the premises so that appropriate steps can be taken in the case of an <br />emergency. <br />28 <br />
