EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN <br />1. The Fire Department conducts periodic life—safety and Uniform Fire Code <br />inspections that focus on hazardous materials handling: and usage. <br />3. The definition of a release or threatened release of a hazardous material includes <br />incidents that pose an actual or potential hazard to human health and safety, property <br />or the environment. In the event of a hazardous materials release or threatened <br />release, state law requires immediate verbal notification to the agencies listed below. <br />a. Local Fire Department <br />b.
