RAY RD, <br /> General Information <br /> Description of Services <br /> The boarding of domestic dogs for owners who are going out of town. No breeding or <br /> selling of dogs will be done at this facility. The facility will operate year-round. <br /> Prevailing Wind Direction <br /> The prevailing wind direction is west to east. <br /> Capacity <br /> The maximum number of dogs housed in this project will be forty (40). <br /> Manure Management <br /> Waste found inside the facility will be disposed of as follows: <br /> As soon as it is found, any solid wasted will be picked up, bagged, and disposed of in a <br /> trash can/dumpster. The liquid waste will be soaked up using mops and the room with be <br /> sanitized using mops and cleaning solutions. Dirty mop water will be dumped down the sink <br /> drain and routed to the septic system. <br /> There will be drains running along the front of the indoor rooms that will lead to the <br /> septic system. These drains are to catch water during bi-monthly deep cleaning hose-downs. <br /> Hosing down of indoor rooms will not be done on a daily process. <br /> Waste found outside the facility will be disposed of as follows: <br /> The solid waste found in the outdoor concrete runs will be collected, bagged, and <br /> disposed of into a dumpster. Gutter-style drains will run along the front of the concrete runs. <br /> The runs will be hosed out once a day to clean them and remove urine. The liquid will be <br /> collected by the drains and taken into the septic system. <br /> Solid waste found in the grass exercise yards will be picked up multiple times a day, <br /> bagged, and disposed of in a dumpster. Liquid waste will naturally absorb into the grass area. <br />
