Each employee is to be trained within their first thirty <br /> days of employment. Until the employee has received the initial training, the employee is not <br /> permitted to work alone. If the employee does not receive the required training within their first <br /> thirty days, it is unlawful for the station to schedule the employee for work. Training is the <br /> responsibility of both the Gas Station Manager and the employee. The station manager is responsible <br /> for scheduling the employee and the employee is responsible for their attendance. After the initial <br /> training, each employee must repeat this training yearly. <br /> STORMWATER POLLUTION PREVENTION TRAINING <br /> Annually train all employees on the Best Management Practices (BMPs) for Stormwater Pollution <br /> Prevention <br /> HAZARDOUS MATERIALS BUSINESS PLAN TRAINING <br /> All facilities that handle hazardous materials in HMBP quantities must have a written employee training <br /> plan. This plan is a required module of the Hazardous Materials Business Plan (HMBP). <br /> MANUAL PURPOSE <br /> This manual is provided as a training guide. This manual should be reviewed by the employee <br /> periodically throughout the year. This manual will be provided for each employee at your location and <br /> space is provided for you to take notes during the training. <br /> COURSE CONTENTS <br /> 1. Operation of the Underground Storage Tank(UST) System <br /> 2. Underground Storage Tank (UST) System General Overview <br /> 3. Emergency Response/ Contact Information <br /> 4. Spill / Leak Response Procedures <br /> 5. Stormwater Pollution Best Management Practices <br /> 6. Hazardous Material Handling Procedures <br /> 7. Monitoring equipment operation and alarm response procedures <br /> 8. Responding to alarms <br /> 9. Completing the repair log <br /> 10. Hazardous Materials Business Plan (HMBP), Emergency Response Plan (ERP), and Monitoring Plan <br /> (MP)Training. <br /> COURSE OBJECTIVES <br /> Train all facility employees in the proper operation and maintenance of the Underground Storage Tank <br /> (UST) systems.
