CERTIFICATION OF ANTONINI 500-GALLON WASTE OIL TANK
This certification has been prepared for the 500-gallon waste oil tank located at the Antonini Enterprises,
LLC facility, 287 North Cardinal Avenue, Stockton, California. The tank is a rectangular in shape and made
from 3/16"welded carbon-steel plates. The tank dimensions are 6 feet long, 3 feet wide, and 4 feet tall. The
tank is single-walled with a limited capacity secondary containment made of comparable materials. No API
standard could be identified on this AGT. The top plate of the tank has two penetrations, one approximate
6-inch diameter fill port and one 2-inch diameter drain line. The drain line is equipped with diaphragm
(suction)pump and is used to transfer the contents of the tank to licensed waste hauler. At the time of this
certification, the tank materials were in good condition and are compatible with the waste oil that is being
stored. The fill port on the tank serves as the vent and allows shop personnel to visually gauge the amount
of accumulated waste oil. The tank is painted gray and is clearly labeled as "waste oil".
Because this tank has limited secondary containment and is of unknown manufacture, this certification
requires the tank owner(s)and/or operator(s)to provide continued and regular in-house inspections to
verify structural integrity and ensure the tank remains free of deterioration and corrosion. Inspections and
reporting are discussed within the SPCC Plan for the Antonini facility. Inspections shall be conducted on a
weekly basis or sooner depending on frequent use of this tank. Records of the inspection shall be logged
and retained by Antonini management for a period of at least three years. The inspections shall continue
until such time the tank and secondary containment are replaced, a new certification is provided, or a
revised SPCC Plan is prepared for the facility.
CERTIFICATION
I hereby certify that I have personally evaluated the waste oil storage tank described above. Although the
tank does not have distinguishing API manufacture plate, I observed this tank to be made with competent
workmanship and materials suitable for its current use. The tank showed no signs of leakage or
deterioration at the time of the inspection. Being familiar with the provisions of 40 CFR part 112, attest that
this Certification has been prepared in accordance with good engineering practices.
Engineer: RZY.7
S.
