The following observations were made during the inspection: -At 865 Corp Yard, two fluorescent light tubes were stored on the ground. -At Corp Yard north of 865, there were light bulbs stored on a pallet. -At 883 Corp Yard, there were two containers of universal waste lamps stored open. Universal waste lamps shall be stored in a manner that prevents breakage and release to the environment. All broken universal waste lamps and releases shall be immediately cleaned and containerized. Immediately store all universal waste lamps in a manner that prevents breakage and release to the environment. This is a Class 11 violation. 706 CCR 66273.33.5 Failed to properly manage universal waste electronic devices, CRTs or CRT glass. The following observations were made during the inspection: -At Corp Yard north of 865, there were electronics waste and a CRT stored on the ground and a pallet including a microwave, a computer monitor, a keyboard, and lamps. -At building 874, electronics waste were left outside next to the bunker in a box. Universal waste electronic devices, CRTs and CRT glass shall be stored in a manner that prevents breakage and release to the environment. All broken universal waste electronic devices, CRTs, and CRT glass and releases shall be immediately cleaned and containerized. Immediately store all universal waste electronic devices, CRTs, and CRT glass in a manner that prevents breakage and release to the environment. This is a Class 11 violation. 712 CCR 66273.34 Failed to label universal waste to identify type of universal waste. The following observations were made during the inspection: -At 865 Corp Yard, two fluorescent tubes were stored open and unlabeled. -At Corp Yard north of 865, there were electronics waste and a CRT stored on the ground and a pallet including a microwave, a computer monitor, a keyboard, and lamps without a label. -At building 874, electronics waste was stored on a pallet outside without a label. Universal waste shall be marked with the words"Universal Waste" and the type of waste (batteries, mercury containing equipment, lamps, electronic devices, CRTs, CRT glass). Immediately label these wastes and ensure that all universal wastes are labeled with the required information. This is a Class II violation.
