Box 105 <br />Colorado Springs, Colorado 80901 <br />RE: HOLLY SUGAR, TRACY FACILITY <br />Dear Harold: <br />Per your request by letter dated March' <br />1, 1986, the American <br />E <br />Environmental Management Corporation (AMC) responded to <br />"Findings, Item No. �" from the Central Valley Regional Water <br />G?uality Control Board Inspection Report, dated February 20, 1986. <br />On April 17, 1986, AEMC pick:ed up Sample Nos. HS -1, HS and HS-' <br />from Mr. Louis Garcia at the Tracy facility. These three (7) <br />samples are duplicates of the samples analyzed by ELlrek:a <br />Laboratories, Inc. for pH, metals and organics in November 1985. <br />AEMC delivered HS -1, HS -21 and HS -4 to Eureka Laboratories, Inc. <br />(State Certification #tne) and requested a Waste Extraction Test <br />(with distilled water) for each sample. A lead analysis (EPA <br />Method 741) was ordered on the extracts from each sample. <br />Enclosed is a copy of the analytical report from Eureka <br />Laboratories, Inc., which indicates nondetectable concentrations <br />(<:ti,cil mg/L) of lead in each extract. <br />Please contact me should you have any questions regarding this <br />report. <br />Sincerely, <br />- / Jim C.
