0 <br />Monitor Fitting <br />The monitor fitting allows for the placement of probe(s) to <br />detect the presence of liquid in the interstitial space. <br />Fiberglass Reservoir/Brine <br />Xerxes double-wall tanks can be shipped with a factory -brine - <br />filed interstice, which provides a positive -pressure hydrostatic <br />monitoring system to detect a leak. This system provides con- <br />tinuous leak protection for both the primary and secondary <br />walls of the tank. In addition, Xerxes' TRUCHEK® UL -verified, <br />tank -tightness test can be performed <br />on all brine -filled tanks. <br />Seepage 16 for <br />more details on <br />TRUCHEK®. <br />Fiberglass Manway <br />Manways provide both access to the interior of the tank as <br />well as a location for service fittings. The standard manway <br />I.D. is 22". Manways with 30" and 36" I.D.s are available on <br />certain tanks. <br />Each manway is provided with a steel cover, with plated <br />bolts, nuts and washers, and a UL -listed gasket. Manways <br />are placed in standard locations as shown on the standard <br />tank drawings. <br />NPT Fitting <br />Steel NPT service fittings in the manway cover are <br />available in 2", 4", 6" and 8" <br />half -couplings. When ordering tanks, spec fi <br />manway-cover fitting configuration. <br />Fiberglass Manway Extension <br />Tank entry in high -groundwater conditions and/or deep <br />burials may require manway extensions. When bolted to the <br />manway, an extension provides a watertight access to the <br />tank interior. Extensions are available in 22", 30" and 36" <br />diameters, and in 2' lengths or more, up to a maximum <br />height of 6'. Extensions include nuts, bolts, washers and a <br />gasket. <br />
