0 <br />Fiberglass Isolation Riser <br />The fiberglass isolation riser provides a noncorroding access <br />from the street box down to the top of the tank. Since the <br />bottom is open, the riser will fill with <br />water if water surrounds the <br />outside of the riser. This riser <br />is available in lengths up <br />to 6' in height <br />Fiberglass Fill Tube <br />Fill tubes are screwed into the bottom of <br />the 6" x 4" NPT double -tapped AM <br />reducer bushing that is <br />located in a 6" service <br />fitting. The bottom of <br />the fill tube is located <br />4" above the bottom <br />of the tank with the <br />open end slanted 450. <br />The top of the 4" NPT <br />service fitting is closed <br />with a 4" cast-iron plug <br />to. facilitate shipping and <br />testing. A 6" NPT fitting is O <br />provided to accommodate <br />the fiberglass fill tube. <br />Tank Ladder <br />FRP, aluminum or carbon -steel <br />ladders are attached at the <br />tank bottom by FRP mount <br />and restrained at the <br />top by an FRP bracket <br />This allows the ladder <br />to slide freely, which <br />compensates for tank <br />expansion or contraction. <br />(Manway and ladder <br />are sold separately.) <br />Man -Out -of -Hole (MOH) Strap <br />Xerxes MOH connectors and straps are used as an alternative <br />to standard strap anchor systems when personnel can not <br />enter the excavation. Use one connector and two straps per <br />anchor -point location. <br />Lifting Lug <br />Each tank has a minimum of one lifting lug and may have <br />more if rotated for shipping. <br />Secondarily contained <br />Service Fitting <br />Secondarily contained service fittings, <br />typically a 4" NPT within a 6" NPT, <br />allow the tank to be connected <br />to a secondarily coi <br />piping system. <br />
