0
Fiberglass Isolation Riser
The fiberglass isolation riser provides a noncorroding access
from the street box down to the top of the tank. Since the
bottom is open, the riser will fill with
water if water surrounds the
outside of the riser. This riser
is available in lengths up
to 6' in height
Fiberglass Fill Tube
Fill tubes are screwed into the bottom of
the 6" x 4" NPT double -tapped AM
reducer bushing that is
located in a 6" service
fitting. The bottom of
the fill tube is located
4" above the bottom
of the tank with the
open end slanted 450.
The top of the 4" NPT
service fitting is closed
with a 4" cast-iron plug
to. facilitate shipping and
testing. A 6" NPT fitting is O
provided to accommodate
the fiberglass fill tube.
Tank Ladder
FRP, aluminum or carbon -steel
ladders are attached at the
tank bottom by FRP mount
and restrained at the
top by an FRP bracket
This allows the ladder
to slide freely, which
compensates for tank
expansion or contraction.
(Manway and ladder
are sold separately.)
Man -Out -of -Hole (MOH) Strap
Xerxes MOH connectors and straps are used as an alternative
to standard strap anchor systems when personnel can not
enter the excavation. Use one connector and two straps per
anchor -point location.
Lifting Lug
Each tank has a minimum of one lifting lug and may have
more if rotated for shipping.
Secondarily contained
Service Fitting
Secondarily contained service fittings,
typically a 4" NPT within a 6" NPT,
allow the tank to be connected
to a secondarily coi
piping system.
