I <br />14.36 feet below the top of the casing in well MW 1 and at''' 14.88 feet in well MW2, corresponding to <br />groundwater elevations of -8.64 and -8.66 in wells MW 1 aiid MW2'1 respectively. These data confirm <br />a generally easterly groundwater gradient at the site, as inferred fro 'rim published maps and nearby sites. <br />Well survey data are included with the groundwater sampling field notes, Attachment A. <br />Well Destruction <br />On August 6, 1996 wells MW 1 and MW2 were destroyed1 by pressure grouting at the request of Mr. <br />Ranuio and under the direction of Ms. Linda Turkatte of San Joaquin County Public Health Services, <br />Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD).
