Violations Effective immediately, all containers holding #2 & #5: hazardous waste shall be closed except when adding or removing waste. Violation #6: Within 10 days of receipt of this report, adequate spill control and decontamination equipment shall be available at hazardous waste storage areas. Violation #7: Within 14 days of receipt of this report, all drums containing hazardous waste which have been stored in excess of 90 days shall be transported by a California Registered Hazardous Waste Hauler to an approved Treatment, Storage or Disposal Facility. Violation #8: Within 10 days of receipt of this report, employee training records which document on-the-job training to ensure compliance with these regulations shall be available for inspection. Violation #9: Within 10 days of receipt of this report, records indicating job title for each position at the facility related to hazardous waste management and the name of the employee filling each job shall be available for inspection. Violation #10: Within 10 days of receipt of this report, a written job description for each position listed under violation #8 [Section 66265.16 (d) (1)] shall be available for inspection. Violation #11: Within 30 days of receipt of this report, submit a biennial report to the State Department of Toxic Substances Control and maintain a record of the submittal on site. When all violations have been corrected, please send written certification to this office at the letterhead address. This certification shall contain the sample certification statement indicated on Attachment I. PHS-EHD may conduct a follow up inspection of the facility to verify compliance. The issuance of this report of violations and schedule of correction does not preclude PHS-EHD from taking any administrative, civil, or criminal action as a result of the violations noted herein.
