Coffee Company in response to a complaint that <br />Nestle/Hills Bros. Coffee Co. was muting their hazardous waste with their coffee ground spoils. <br />H. OWNER/OPERATOR: <br />Nestle Food Company owns Nestle and the Chairman/CEO is Alan McDonalds. The corporation is <br />headquartered at 100 Manhattanville Road in Purchase, New York, 10577. <br />IV. BACKGROUND: <br />In 1986 a sampling of Nestle wells detected Trichloroethylene (ICE) in the groundwater. The company has <br />been performing remedial activities with oversight from the State Regional Water Quality Control Board. <br />On March 12, 1988, PHS-EHD signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Health <br />Services authorizing PHS-EHD to perform hazardous waste generator inspections in San Joaquin County. <br />A Division of San Joaquin County Health care Services 10 <br />
