OZaeegs <br />Family of Fine Stores <br />August 11, 2011 <br />Garrett Backus <br />Environmental Health Department <br />600 East Main Street <br />Stockton, CA 95202 <br />RE: Response to Underground Storage Tank (UST) inspection report of July 18, 2011 at <br />Raley's Aisle 1 #356 4219 Morada Lane, CA 95212 <br />Dear Mr. Backus, <br />This letter is in response to the Department's July 18, 2011 UST inspection report. Each numbered <br />item below corresponds to the numbered items in the report summary of violations. <br />Item #4 Certification of Financial Responsibility is on file at this site and a copy is attached. <br />Item #7 Maintenance records for the following two alarms were not found on site: Q4 -diesel <br />PLLD 10-22-10 positive shut down alarm and S4-91 product on 10-28-10 communication alarm. <br />Attached is a copy of the designated operator monthly visual inspection for October the Q-4 diesel <br />PLLD alarm is noted on page 2. Also attached is a copy of the maintenance record invoice <br />#1122869 for the repair of this alarm. You will see that the date at the top of invoice #1122869 is <br />10-21-10. However, the technician did sign this invoice on 10-22-10 when the work was <br />performed. This document was on site at the time of inspection but may have been missed due to <br />the date discrepancy. <br />We cannot find any record of the system having a 54-91 product communication alarm on 10-28- <br />10. However, we do see a record on the veeder root printout and also on the November UST <br />monthly inspection of an L20 fuel alarm, which was corrected by Service Station Systems on 10- <br />28-11 invoice #1121746. Inspection report and copy of invoice are attached. <br />Item #18 was noted in the report as corrected on site. <br />Item 23c Designated operator failed to document S4-91 product communication alarm dated 10-28- <br />10. Since being notified of this we have been working with our Designated Operator (Service <br />Station Systems) and reviewing our October and November UST monthly inspection reports along <br />with the veeder root print outs of all alarms that occurred and we are not able to find a 54-91 <br />product communication alarm on 10-28-10 ever occurring. We have found a L20 fuel alarm 10- <br />28-10 that was documented on the November UST monthly inspection report and also corrected by <br />SSS on 10-28-10.
