SUMMARY CLASS I,CLASS II,o MINOR-Notice to Comply) This is a report of the Routine hazardous waste inspection conduced at the referenced facility by San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD). The following are Minor Violations - Notice to Comply: 108, 122/125,127,128,605/701, 804/808/809,812 108. Failed to make a hazardous determination of the white solid waste in a black metal 55-gallon drum with a "Non-Hazardous" label (but generator stated he is not certain what the waste is), and metal waste fine on the lathe and on the floor by the sand grinder. Generator shall make hazardous waste determination of the waste and manage the waste accordingly. In addition, hazardous waste properties and size of metal particles must be determined before they can be recycled as scrap metal. Hazardous metal particles 100 microns or smaller cannot be recycled but must be handled as hazardous waste. Immediately make a hazardous waste determination of the above wastes and manage each accordingly, or dispose of the waste as hazardous waste in accordance to California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title 22. Submit documentation explaining how this waste was managed by 07/13/2014. 122 & 125. Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for the last three years were not found on site. Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review. Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD by 07/13/2014. ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE.
