EI Dorado, Stockton Program: HW <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> NOTES (The following are not violations) <br /> The facility generated unknown volume of hazardous waste in 2013. Based on interview with generator <br /> and observation made during this inspection, facility generated no more than 5 tons of hazardous waste <br /> in 2013, and therefore will state in the current permitting category. Facility is a retail business for off- <br /> road vehicles and had "gotten rid" of their repair shop years ago according to the generator, but facility <br /> still generates hazardous waste from its "research and development" activities. <br /> 404. Used Oil and Antifreeze containers (see #605/701) were not closed. All hazardous waste <br /> containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Corrected on site. <br /> 610. One use oil filter was observed on top of a drained oil pan. Used oil filters must be stored in a <br /> closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used oil filters," and marked with an accumulation start <br /> date. Corrected on site. <br /> 999. HSC 25404 (e)(4). Electronic submittal requirement on the California Environmental Reporting <br /> System (CERS) was not current and incomplete. Facility shall submit electronic information for <br /> hazardous materials management system, including hazardous waste, on the CERS website, which can <br /> be found on http:.//cers.calepa.ca.gov/. Corrected on site. <br /> Generator states they will be closing business soon as they are preparing to relocate to Lodi, CA. <br /> Please be aware that all hazardous waste (including universal wastes) at this address must be properly <br /> disposed of in accordance to Title 22, and a final hazardous waste inspection by EHD inspector is <br /> required before facility can be removed from SJC EHD inventory. Storage of hazardous waste into the <br /> next year (2015) will require a 2015 Hazardous Waste Generator permit. <br /> A copy of CUPA class schedule, blank hazardous waste labels, hazardous waste labeling factsheet, and <br /> San Joaquin County Small Business Hazardous Waste Disposal Program pamphlet, have been <br /> provided to generator during this inspection. <br /> Submit the following to EHD by: 07/13/2014 <br /> 1) A completed copy of the (provided) Return to Compliance Certification (please keep original for your <br /> records). 2) A written statement how each violation was corrected. 3) Evidence (i.e. photos, disposal <br /> receipts, documents) in support of the corrections made. <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> EHD Inspector: R i d By: Title: <br /> Jeffrey Wong (209) 468-0335 <br /> EHD 23-02-003 Rev 04/19/12 CONTINUATION FORM <br />
