(Stratus) and has the <br /> following comments . . <br /> In correspondence dated July 17, 2003 SJC/EHD approved the installation of three new <br /> monitoring wells onsite , the destruction of obstructed offsite monitoring well MW-3 <br /> followed by the installation of a replacement well in the same location but screened in the <br /> deeper water bearing zone, the destructions of MW- 12, VEW-1 and manometer points <br /> MP1 & MP2, the redevelopment of wells MW-8 and MW-9, and the updating of the <br /> sensitive receptor survey. <br /> To date this scope of work has not been completed . The report states that this work will <br /> be initiated once an encroachment permit has been obtained from the City of Stockton . <br /> However, SJC/EHD does not believe it takes two years to obtain encroachment permits <br /> from the City of Stockton . Please proceed with submittal with a San Joaquin County well <br /> installation and destruction permit applications , respectively required $89. 00 and $60 . 00 <br /> permit fees and two $279. 00 (total $558 . 00) permit inspection fees, copies of the City of <br /> Stockton encroachment permit, and with completing this work, specifically the destruction <br /> of MW-3, VEW- 1 , MP1 & MP2, and the reinstallation of MW-3. The deadline for this work <br /> to be completed is October 28 , 2005.
