The report was received on 1 August <br />2006 and it provided documentation on the recent removal of visible particles of sulfur from <br />soil surfaces, completed construction work to reduce sulfur drift, upcoming planned activities, <br />and storm water pollution prevention plans (SWPPP). <br />Based on the Regional Water Board staffs review of the report, additional information is <br />required to verify that sulfur drift has been adequately removed from surface soil. Please <br />provide the following information to the Regional Water Board by 22 October 2006: <br />1. Metropolitan Stevedore <br />a. Provide the analytical data (pH, sulfur, and metals) on the characterization and <br />profiling for disposal of excavated soil. Include copies of the chain -of -custody and <br />the signed profile. <br />b. Provide a site map that clearly delineates the areas, dimensions, and depths where <br />sulfur was removed from the soil surfaces. On this map, show the confirmation <br />sample locations and analytical concentrations that were used to determine that <br />sulfur was successfully removed from these areas. Provide a summary of the soil <br />confirmation analytical data in tabular format, copies of the laboratory results, <br />laboratory quality control data, and the chains -of -custody. <br />California Environmental Protection Agency <br />�a� Xectrled Paper <br />
