In the hazardous waste storage area are four 55 gallon drums of waste oil. Only <br /> two of these 55 gallon drums are labeled as waste oil. These drums are not marked with all the required information for <br /> containers of hazardous waste. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> - name and address of generator <br /> - hazardous properties <br /> - physical state <br /> - composition (contents) <br /> - accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. Since <br /> it cannot be determined how long the containers of waste oil and mixture of waste fuel and water has been on site, <br /> immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of these wastes under manifest and submit a copy <br /> of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> in the hazardous wasie storage area is a 55 gallon ofum of drained used oil filters. This drum is not marked with the <br /> words "drained used oil filters" and an accumulation start date. This drum lacked the proper cover to keep it closed <br /> and rainproof. Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as <br /> "drained used oil filters," and marked with an accumulation start date. Immediately place the proper cover on this <br /> drum to keep it closed and rainproof. Mark this drum with the words "drained used oil filters"and with an accumulation <br /> start date and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> site to conduct a routine hazardous waste inspection. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> ;paperwork, by 10-17-15. <br /> Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials information <br /> inline to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov.
