B. The tank gauge system must be verified weekly. Ti.- fuel levels in the tanks need <br />to be manually measured by use of the tank stick to verify the system's readings. <br />The system's water detection capabilities must be tested with water detection paste <br />to be sure it is functioning properly. Report any gauge system abnormalities to <br />Facility Maintenance. <br />C. All area lighting must be inspected regularly to be sure everything is working. <br />D. All joints in the concrete pad over the tanks must be inspected weekly and any fuel <br />seen above ground must be reported to Facility Maintenance immediately. <br />E. Check vent pipes for excessive fuel. If there is excessive fuel in the vent pipes, <br />report it immediately to Facility Maintenance. <br />F. Fill pipe and submerged pump street boxes and manholes must be inspected and <br />any accumulation of fuel reported immediately. <br />G. Check diesel filters. There will always be diesel film around these. If dripping is <br />noticed, report it immediately to Facility Maintenance. <br />H. Report any sudden increase in the water level in the tanks immediately to Facility <br />Maintenance. <br />Open lower door of each dispenser and visually inspect the overall interior; <br />specifically the union or pipe connections, meters and the fusible link (for fire <br />emergency shut-off) on the impact valve to be sure it is free and clear. <br />51 <br />
