Chevron Products Company
Former Chevron Service Station #9-5775, 301 West Kettlemaan Lane, Lodi, California Page 4
July 15.2002
S VE operability exceeded 100% during the 2Q02. Table 5 and 5.1 present operational
measurements and calculated mass removal rates for TPHg and benzene, and MtBE,
respectively.
During the 2Q02, the SVE system removed approximately 5.7 pounds of TPHg and 0.1
pounds of benzene.. Since operation began, the SVE system has removed an estimated
4,103.6 pounds of TPHg, 85.5 pounds of benzene, and 443.8 pounds of MtBE. Mass
removal trends and influent soil vapor TPHg, benzene, and MtBE concentrations versus time
t are shown on Figures 8 and 9, respectively.
SVE system emission data is presented in Table 6.
3.3 Estimated Mass of Hydrocarbons in Soil and Groundwater
The hydrocarbon mass estimates presented below are an update of results presented within
the Problem Assessment Report / Final Remediation Plan (PAR/FRP) Addendum, dated June
5, 2001 and sections 3.1 and 3.2 above. Methodology for determining the mass of
hydrocarbons adsorbed to soil and dissolved in groundwater can be found within the
PAR/FRP Addendum.
3.3.1 Estimated Mass of Petroleum Hydrocarbons Adsorbed in Soil
The results presented below are based on the calculation presented within the PAR/FRP
Addendum and cumulative 2Q02 SVE mass removal data. To conservatively estimate
analyte mass remaining, historical soil analytical data was used.
