Chevron Products Company 5 <br />Former Chevron Service Station #9-5775, 301 West Kettleman Lane, Lodi, Califomia June 5, 2001 <br />sampling event, MtBE was reported in on-site A and B -zone monitoring wells located to the east, <br />• west, south and southwest of the former USTs at concentrations ranging from 0 63 ug/1 (MW -8A) <br />to 2,000 ug/l (EX -3) <br />Historically, MtBE has not been reported in sentry well MW -8S During the most recent monthly <br />sampling (4126101) MtBE was reported at a concentration of 3 0 ug/l <br />• <br />2.3 Recent Assessment Activities and Findings <br />23.1 Soil Borings and Monitoring Well Installations <br />Between October 6, 2000 and February 22, 2001, seven (7) soil borings (B4, B6, B8, B9, B10, <br />B11, and MW -8S), nine (9) groundwater monitoring wells (MW -7B, MW -8S, MW -9B, MW -IOC, <br />MW -17B, MW -18B, MW -19C, MW -20A, and MW -20B), and one (1) groundwater extraction <br />well (EX -3) were drilled and installed at the site by Cascade Drilling and Western Strata <br />Exploration (WESTEX) <br />Stratigraphic information obtained from the soil borings was used as a guide to assist in placement <br />of well screens in continuous water -bearing zones.
