<br />232 Soil Sampling and Analysis
<br />Soil samples were collected continuously from 55 feet bgs using a California -modified split -spoon
<br />sampler Discrete sampling intervals and analytical results are presented as Table 1, and
<br />summarized below Analytical data sheets for soil samples are included in Attachment G
<br />Hydrocarbons and fuel oxygenates were not reported in soil samples collected from borings B8 and
<br />B4 Hydrocarbons and fuel oxygenates were not reported in B5 at 50 and 82 feet bgs TPHg,
<br />benzene, ethylbenzene, MtBE, EtBE, and TAME were reported in the soil sample from 58 feet bgs
<br />in B5 at 2 38 mg/kg, 0 805 mg/kg, 0 049 mg/kg, 17 2 mg/kg, 0 647 mg/kg, and 0 229 mg/kg
<br />respectively TPHg, benzene, ethylbenzene, MtBE, EtBE, and TAME were reported in the soil
<br />sample from 62-1/2 feet bgs at 169 mg/kg, 0 610 mg/kg, 0 0570 mg/kg, 7 53 mg/kg, 0 452 mglkg,
<br />and 0 109 mg/kg respectively
<br />2 3 3 Depth Discrete Groundwater Samples
<br />Depth discrete groundwater samples were collected in water -bearing zones using a hydropunch
<br />sampler Discrete sampling intervals and analytical results are presented as Table 2, and
<br />summarized below Analytical data sheets for discrete groundwater samples are included in
<br />Attachment G
<br />Concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons and fuel oxygenates were not reported in water from
<br />borings B8, B 10, B 11, and B4 Concentrations of xylenes were reported in boring B9 (98 feet bgs)
<br />at 0 672 ug/1 MtBE and ethanol were reported in monitoring well MW -9B (105 feet bgs) at
<br />concentrations of 0 58 and 8 9 ug/l, respectively
<br />The majority of detections in groundwater were reported in boring MW -8S Concentrations of
<br />TPHg were reported (101, 117, and 151 feet bgs) at 190 ug/l, 240 ug/l, and 100 ug/l, respectively.
<br />Ethylbenzene was reported (151 feet bgs) at a concentration of 0 51 ug/l Xylenes were reported
<br />(117, 151, and 182 feet bgs) at concentrations of 5 0 ug/l, 18 ug/l, and 0 61 ug/l, respectively
<br />MtBE was reported (101 and 151 feet bgs) at concentrations of 17 ug/1 and 0 68 ug/l, respectively
<br />TBA was reported (117 feet bgs) at a concentration of 32 ug/l Ethanol was reported at 62, 101,
<br />117, 151, and 182 feet bgs at concentrations of 2,100 ug/l, 1,600 ug/l, 3,800 ug/l, 5,600 ug/l, and
<br />2,800 ug/l, respectively

<br />Groundwater extraction well EX -3 was developed by a SECOR environmental technician on
