I SECOR 0 hile; nalional InwiPwated December 08, 2000 Project 077 41991 043 Mr Richard C Prima, Jr City of Lodi Public Works Director 221 West Pine Street Lodi, CA RE Discharge Report for November, 2000 Former Chevron #9-5775 301 West Kettleman Lane Lodi, California Cleanup and Abatement Order No 5-00-704 Wastewater Discharge Permit #295 Dear Mr Prima This letter, prepared by SECOR International Incorporated (SECOR) on behalf of Chevron Products Company (Chevron), presents operating data for the groundwater extraction (GWE) system at the site referenced above (Figures 1 and 2) Chevron discharges treated groundwater at the subject site under City of Lodi Wastewater Discharge Permit #295 Extraction and treatment of groundwater was initiated on July 3, 2000 The GWE system extracts groundwater from site wells EX -1, MW-141EX-2, and EX -3 Extracted groundwater is routed through a particulate filter, then three 2,000 -pound liquid phase activated carbon vessels plumbed in series A treatment system schematic is shown on Figure 3 Summary of Violations There have been no violations of the discharge limitations during the November discharge period Concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons and fuel oxygenates were below detection limits in the effluent samples collected during this period Summary of GWE System Operation Samples were collected form the influent port, midpoint 1 (between the first and second carbon vessels), midpoint 2 (between the second and third carbon vessels), and the effluent port on November 1, 8, and 29, 2000 Concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons and fuel oxygenates were reported as below detection limits in midpoints . 1 and 2 and effluent samples (Table 1) Concentrations of total xylenes, methyl tertiary '01 -A I/-ji (A'od l ~/tilt 100 Reintho (rr dwa ( 1 950_0 916 )()l 000 '1"0 161 0fi0 1 Leri/
