Visually inspec t flange and blind bolts. Look for signs of damage andlor corrosion. Ensure there are <br />arrows showing flow direction. Ensure piping is clearly marked with product service.(Refer to API 570, section <br />5.12 for Piping Inspection Code: API 1637 for MarkinalLabeling) - <br />Cathodic Protection System (where applicable) - Visually inspect to ensure the system is operational; monthly, <br />complete the separate cathodic protection inspection form. <br />Motor Operated Valves (Ill Air Leak - Listen for air leaks <br />Piping Supports - Ensure supports pports are in good condition, sturdy,' Inspect for signs of rust or damage. <br />Automatic Gates -Ensure gates open and Gose property and all safety features (sensorloops, contact alarms, <br />lights, sounds) work correctly. Look for obvious signs of damage to gate operator, rollers, chains, hydraulic <br />PUMPS <br />W alkthrough Gates -Ensure gates are closed and locked and show no signs of damage or unauthorized entry <br />/ <br />v <br />Off-site Drain Valves - Ensure valves are closed and locked when not in use and show no signs of damage <br />Video Cameras - Ensurecameras are present and show no obvious signs of damage. Check monitor inside to <br />ensure they are work rig propedy, are in focus and are adjusted to provide maximum viewing <br />Dike Walls - Inspect walls for damage, points for potential leaks during spill (ex: animal burrows, cracks) <br />/ <br />Fencellne - Visually inspect the fenceline for holes in fencing, sagging/ broken barbed wire, gaps under fencing, <br />i/ <br />vegetation growing into fencing, suspicious packageslpeople near fencing, signs of unauthorized entry <br />Valves - Look for product leaks and drips; Ensure valves are in the correct position and locked when not in use; <br />Ensure water draw and roof drain valves are closed and locked when not in use <br />Y <br />Manifold Area - Ensure there are no signs ofleaks; valves that are not In use are closed and locked; product <br />valve labels are correct <br />Seals and Locks - Ensure all seals and locks are in place and show no signs of tampering <br />/ <br />Dock Security Checks - Walk length of dock ispecting above and below,' verify all gates are dosed and locked <br />'V <br />at at/ times, dock buildings kept locked when dock unattended, check for hose leaks; check lighting at night <br />✓ <br />f <br />/ - - <br />Pump Off Pumps - Visually inspect for leaks, listen for excessive or unusual noise when running, verify oil in <br />lubricator, check pressure gauges, verify valves locked <br />Leaks - Look for signs ofdrip or leaks. Pay dose attention to welds, seams, valves and nozzles. <br />v <br />Tank Information Stenciling - Ensure fire diamond is present, not faded and correct. Ensure stenciling is correct <br />(product, levels of concern, valve identification) <br />✓ <br />Tags/Decals - Update storage tank in-service tagsldeca/s (Ex: last time inspected, Cleaning dates, Capacity, <br />etc.) <br />Floating Suction Level Indicator -Verify floating suction level indicator is moving with product sales1receipts <br />Tank Shell - Visually inspect for bulges, dents or signs of corrosion. <br />Monitoring Well -Visually inspect to ensure well is free of water, product and vapors. <br />..: <br />I/ 14 , : 1 Rags - Ensure there are no ragslabsorbent pads laying about <br />Electrical Cabinets - Ensure all cabinets are tightened closed and locked <br />Driver Restroom - Ensure cleanliness, check vandalism <br />Drips and Spills -Look for evidence of product that could be a sign of a leak and could be a slipping hazard. <br />t1 Take corrective action immediately. <br />Test Room - Ensure cleanliness, samples appropriately labeled and stored; ensure exhaust fans are <br />operational; tock room as appropriate <br />Trash - Remove all trash and debris; empty trash cans <br />Ba-.ta Te' ­3!
