Review ofMSDS sheets <br /> 3. review of evacuation routes <br /> 4. review locations of fire extinguishers and absorbant containers <br /> 5. review emergency plan and cleanup procedures <br /> 6. review handling and cleanup procedures <br /> 7. be familar with location of first aid supplies <br /> Quarterly review ofHaz-Mat plan <br /> 1. each employee should be reviewed on all Haz-Mat procedures <br /> a. review may be conducted as a group or individualy <br /> 2. reviews should be properly documented and filed <br /> New product training <br /> 1. when new products are introduced, additional training may be required <br /> Accident Treatment: <br /> All injuries or emergencies are to be reported at once to supervisor <br /> 1. exposure to chemicals <br /> a. splashing into eyes or onto skin <br /> b. spills onto clothing <br /> c. irritant to skin or respitory system from airborn contaminates <br /> 2. spills <br /> 3. fire or explosions <br /> 4. exaust fans not functioning properly <br /> Treatment <br /> 1. wash skin immediately with soap and water <br /> 2. apply skin ointment if needed <br /> 3. flush eyes immediately and seek medical attention <br /> 4. remove contaminated clothing <br /> 5. move affected person to well ventilated area <br /> Storage: <br /> All chemical containers, Haz-Mat container,MSDS sheets, and a site plan <br /> will be properly labeled and stored inside of the paint mixing room. <br /> Page: 3 <br />
