ONLY MIX YOUR SLURRY BY HAND <br />B.2 - Pour your entire Gallon of slurry mix into your blue bucket and add the catalyst, then slowly <br />but thoroughly stir it until the mixture is consistent. Do not "fluff' it with air or use any powered tools to <br />speed up the process. It should be hand -stirred. Then pour three-quarters of the mixture <br />evenly into the slurry channel of the base (Fig. B.2). Use stir stick to spread it around until it is even <br />and level. <br />B.3 - Slowly and evenly lower the top half into the channel (Fig. B.3). DO NOT SPILL ANY <br />SLURRY BY DROPPING IT INTO THE CHANNEL. <br />Add the rest of the slurry mixture to the channel on the inside and outside. Spread or spackle <br />the slurry into the channel where it appears to be too low. Visually check to make sure the <br />slurry has not overflowerd over the lip of the channel, either inside or outside. <br />Pay particular attention to the quality of seal at the corners. <br />3/4 Slurry Mixture <br />DO NOT DISTURB THE SUMP OR IT'S PIPING <br />UNTIL AFTER THE FULL SPECIFIED CURE TIME <br />Fig. B.2 <br />B7000 sump <br />Channel <br />Tank Sump Base <br />Fig. B.3 With B7000 sump in <br />place, apply the rest <br />of the slurry where <br />necessary <br />VULKEM 116 <br />B.4 - OPTIONAL OVERSEAL - It is highly recommended that as a <br />redundant seal for your B7000 Sump Joint, you cover and coat the top of the <br />fully -cured slurry installation with Vulkem 116 polyurethane sealant on the exterior. <br />If you want this additional seal, you must thoroughly coat the top of the slurry so that <br />the Vulkem seals to the outside edge of the channel and the Sump wall.
