Introduce the treatment mixture into the pea gravel mass. <br /> 3. Introduce bioventing if warranted. <br /> 4. Allow a minimum of 30 days for biological'action.�; <br /> 5. Evaluate the treatment progress. <br /> 6. Re-sample and retest within the contamination zone at a point where the highest <br /> levels of contaminants have been observed. <br /> 7. If results exceed action levels, evaluate additional treatment or extending treatment <br /> time an additional 30 days. <br /> 8. If results are below action levels,perform additional verification sampling. <br /> 9. When sampling indicates the contamination zone is below action levels request <br /> closure. <br /> 4.0 Quality Assurance <br /> 4.1 Equipment <br /> Sampling would be accomplished with an AMS Soil Gas Vapor Probe,equipped with an optional soil <br /> t recovery probe. The soil probe is fitted with a removable plastic liner. Borings will be destroyed <br /> after sampling. Dry cement grout will be placed into the borings and hydrated in place. <br /> j. <br /> 4.2 Sample Handling <br /> ii <br /> r <br /> Samples will be collected in the removable butyrateI�. II <br /> i pla�ic lin-1r,checked with an OVM,capped with <br /> polyethylene caps labelled, logged on chain of custody, and stored on ice for transport to the <br /> independent lab. <br /> II ai <br /> 4.3 Contamination Prevention <br /> Each sample will be collected in a clean, new, plastic sample tube. Sample tube caps will be new <br /> polyethylene. The soil recovery probe will be washed between samples. Parts which will contact the <br /> sample will be handled with disposable gloves. it <br /> 4.4 Chain Of Custody <br /> I <br /> I. <br /> All samples will be recorded on chain of custody.
