s
. Work in Progress
The UST fund has approved the remediation plan and the plan has been implemented. Pump and
treatment of ground water began on April 16,2004. Initial and weekly samples indicate that the activated
carbon filter discharge is non-detect and the treatment system is performing as per plan. The rate of
extraction is approximately 13 gpm.A faster extraction rate is not recommended because the draw down
is only 2 to 3'above the pump inlet. As of 5119104;525,976 gallons have been removed and treated. The
scheduled shutdown of the pump and treat system is June 16,2004,with final aquifer sampling on June
17,2004.
Please contact Ervin Rifenburg ofthis office(209)368-9381 if any questions arise concerning this report.
Respectfully submitted,
Foothill Engineering
eR Ess N
0113 A
rn
 z
I C 57707 m
Mike Vlach, P.E.
