23 September 2008
AGE-NC Project No.07-1537
5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the findings of the environmental activities recounted in this report,AGE recommends:
• Continued quarterly ground water monitoring at the site. The second quarter 2008 ground
water monitoring event occurred on 29 April 2008. The third quarter 2008 groundwater
monitoring event occurred on 29 July 2008. The fourth quarter 2008 ground water
monitoring event is scheduled for 20 October 2008.
• Preparation of a work plan for additional soil borings to assess the vertical extent of
MTBE-impacted soil.
6.0. LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities. Findings were based upon field
measurements and analytical results provided by an independent laboratory. Evaluation of the
geologic/hydrogeologic conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation are made from a
limited number of available data points (i.e., grab ground water and soil samples), and subsurface
conditions may vary away from these data points. No other warranty, expressed or implied,is made
as to the professional interpretations, opinions, and recommendations contained in this report.
Advanced GeoEvironmental,Inc.
