The work-,viU include: <br /> 1. Install one air sparge well(SW-2) to approximately 65 feet below surface grade (bsg) <br /> 2. Install subsurface piping and equipment for the remediation system. Based on the flow diagram <br /> included in the work plan: <br /> The air sparge system shall consist of two air sparge wells(SW-2 and S\V-1) to a 1.5 horse- <br /> power 7.5 cfm oil-less compressor,and the soil vapor extraction wells. <br /> The soil vapor extraction system shall consist of 4 vapor extraction wells(\7%XL1 to <br /> VW-4),a knockout drum to remove water from the extracted vapor,an extraction blower <br /> (unknown rating and capacity),and a Thermal/catalytic oxidizer rated for 250 cfm. <br /> I Obtain permits from appropriate agencies. <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> The work plan has not included the final engineering designs including all the equipment and component <br /> selections. Horizon stated that the final design and equipment details will be prepared and submitted to <br /> permitting agencies (Task 5). EHD reserves the right to comment and approve the final design and equipment <br /> specifications.
