Abdelwahed Facility April 18, 2005 <br /> - Stockton-California Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report <br /> diesel (TPHd) by modified Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Method 8015 and for <br /> total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), the volatile aromatic compounds benzene, <br /> toluene, ethylbenzene and total xylenes (BTEX), 1,2-dichloroethane (DCA) and 1 2- <br /> dibromoethane (EDB) by EPA Method 8260B <br /> Results of Groundwater Monitoring <br /> Depth-to-groundwater measurements were subtracted from the surveyed TOC elevations to <br /> calculate groundwater elevations Groundwater elevation data, summarized in Table 1, were <br /> used to construct a groundwater contour map as shown on Figure 2 Groundwater elevation <br /> data indicate flow was generally eastward under a gradient of approximately 0 006 <br /> Analytical data are summarized in Table 1 Concentration data for TPHg, benzene and DCA <br /> are plotted on a site map as shown on Figure 3 The analytical report is contained in <br /> Attachment C <br /> GeoTracker Electronic Data Deliverables <br /> The analytical electronic data deliverable (FDD) is uploaded by miff The groundwater well <br /> measurement EDD (GEO_WELL) for this quarterly monitoring event was uploaded by <br /> Horizon The GEO_WELL upload confirmation sheet is contained in Attachment D <br /> Discussion <br /> During the week of March 7, 2005 Horizon installed four additional monitoring wells, two <br /> vapor wells and a sparge well in order to evaluate the vertical and lateral extent of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons in soil and groundwater The wells were developed and sampled in March <br /> 2005 Analytical results of groundwater samples collected from the new wells aie <br /> summarized in Table 1 The new wells shall be included in future quarterly monitoring <br /> events Horizon is currently planning to conduct remedial testing as part of the current <br /> investigation The results of the soil and groundwater investigation shall be documented in <br /> an investigation report currently in preparation <br /> Distribution <br /> A copy of this report should be forwarded to <br /> Mr Jeff Wong <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, California 95202-2708 <br /> 792ynr Q 105 doc <br /> Project No 1792 42 2 HORIZON ENVIRONMENTAL INC <br />
